homepage has blog content on top

I am running a cherry framework theme. It had been working just fine. I decided to add a blog to my site.

With some help from the forum this morning I thought I was set, so I kept messing around. Bad move.

1. Now my blog content is showing up on top of the Home Page when I click on my LOGO, with the slider behind it. The background image is sitting on top of it.
2. When I click on the HOME button, the screen goes all white.
3. All the other buttons on my main menu look and act normally, even the blog button.

I’ve looked at pretty much all of the settings and can’t find anything amiss. I did NOT mess with ANY coding. I know better.

I don’t know what I did, but I won’t do it again.
