Homepage customization

  • I’m trying to add featured content to the homepage, like the demo shows (the three boxes below the main featured image, with links to pages).
    In the customizer view, the Homepage options are limited to choosing between static front page and recent posts. Can someone help me figure out how to get the options shown on the documentation page here: https://singularitytheme.com/documentation/ under ‘Homepage’?

    Hi

    You need to ensure that:

    • Your homepage uses the ‘Homepage’ page template
    • In the Homepage Settings section of the Customizer ensure that the ‘Your homepage displays’ option is set to ‘static page’
    • Then ensure that the Homepage dropdown is set to your homepage
    • Then you should see a new ‘Homepage’ section appear in the Customizer where you can configure your page

    Sometime after setting your featured page and after saving it, the “homepage” option in customizer get lost. If this is the case, try to set it back to default setting -your latest post. And then refresh it, your “homepage” option in customizer will show up again. Hope that helps!
