homepage content missing but refresh or tab click fixes

    when you land on my home page the content is missing but if you do a refresh or click that tab or another all is well. How do i get rid of the not found problem

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    You need to set it up in your WordPress settings.

    Settings > Reading > A static page (select below) > Choose the page you desire from the dropdown.

    i did the deactivate the plugins but that did not work. any other suggestions?

    No problem, glad it worked. ??

    Also, I’d suggest going into the Permalinks settings and changing it to a custom structure – /%postname%/.

    Will be better for SEO and is easier to link to pages.

    I’m having the same problem, but James’ fix is already set that way! It looks like my Home page is just like any other “page page.” Last time I was logged in I had my hero slider, featured posts, etc., and now it’s all gone! ??
