    Hi,

I’m having issues getting the code needed to be verified by Google on my subdomain. I’ve edited my home page so I could include the code in the header section like in your video, but Google still can’t seem to find it.

I notice that with my main domain, I had additional boxes to add home page codes that don’t seem to exist on my subdomain when I go to the Head & Footer Code setting by accessing the Tool section of my WordPress dashboard, is that the cause? how do I get those additional “Head, body and footer code on Homepage in Blog Posts mode” sections on my subdomain so I can access the “Homepage HEAD Code” from the Tools section of my dashboard?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @unwantedlife,

Thank you for choosing Head & Footer Code plugin for your project.

Please note that each subsite in network WP setup has own HFC settings. You cannot define global head section on subsite 1 (main site) and get it on subsite 2, but you must set global head section also on subsite 2.

On WP Settings > Reading for homepage:

    1. If you set “Your latest posts” option, then you’ll get section “Head, body and footer code on Homepage in Blog Posts mode” on HFC settings page for that subdomain.
    2. If you set “A static page (select below)”, then you has to edit HEAD section on the selected static page, not in plugin settings.

Please let me know if you have more questions?

    Kind regards,
    Aleksandar

    Hi,

Then I haven’t made a mistake then, I have a static page homepage and added the code to the head when I edited it to add the Google needed for Google, but it’s still no verifying it. Any thoughts as to why it’s not working then?

    Hi tehere,

Link to the site in your 1st message lead to website with active “Coming Soon”. If you set verification code on the homepage Page for that website (“shop” subdomain), then it’s not printed to guest visitors because your static page is not shown to the visitor (Google in this case).

If you refer to the different URL, please provide link to that specific homepage so I can check.

    Thanks,
    Aleksandar
