• On my homepage I have the most recent postings. Most postings have users that submit links or submit image URL for postings. I was wondering outside of selecting to show full content and using featured image, if there is a way to display their pictures (I use add media and type in the URL they provided)?
Also sometimes they provide a link to a “find” in the posting after they right a short bit about it is there a way that the link can be clickable on the homepage, because users have to actually go to the posting’s individual page where it then allows them to click on the link. It would be easier and more convenient/friendly if the link could be clicked on the homepage (saves having to go through an extra page).

  • About link is a “problem” of the wordpress function the_excerpt() which escapes tags. You can google for that and find many solutions.
About images you can do something, but this requires some php skills.

The easiest and fastest way to get rid of both issues at the same time is to show the full content (customizr settings for list of posts) and use the more tag, to trim the content at a certain point.

I think that is going to be the easiest way until I get some more time to dig into the php side. Thank you.
