Homepage and static front page

I created a splash page for my site and that is currently set as the front page. However, I cannot access the homepage of my site now that the splash page is activated. It is somewhat like the url of the homepage does not exist. When I type in animodules.org, it takes me straight to the splash page. But I cannot find a way to link visitors to the homepage of the site. Does anyone know how?
