homepage 404 when I enter in the backend

    Good morning,
    I have been having a problem for a few days now. I am using Woodmart as a template and when I enter the backend, the homepage gives me 404 error. As soon as I exit the backend the page comes back online. I have no idea what is going on. Can any of you answer me? Thanks

    Try visiting the permalinks settings screen. Simply loading the page causes all WP rewrite rules to be refreshed, which might resolve the problem.

    If not try using a default twenty* theme and deactivating all plugins. Revisit permalink settings for good measure. If you still get 404s, are they “hard” server level messages, or “soft” WP themed nothing found sort of messages? The latter means the query for the page isn’t working right. You may have a corrupted installation that requires a manual update.

    If you get hard 404s, there’s an issue with your server that’s external to WP.
