Home URL keeps changing

  • Hi all,

    I have a problem with my ‘Home’ URL.. The URL keep on changing when i back from another page, ie : When I click from ‘Home’ to ‘About’, everything alright, but when click back from ‘About’ to ‘Home’ , the URL become https://www.mydomain.com/about/mydomain. IF I enter to ‘Blog’ then back to ‘Home’ it become ” https://www.mydomain.com/blog/mydomain. That’s why it keep on appear 404 page error.

    What should I do to fix this problem? I have checked my setting at wp-admin, it is no problem, and I did checked my PhPAdmin, it’s seem like no problem too.

    FYI, before this problem happened, I did create a new directory by using FTP, but due to some error, I did removed it total. Isn’t is this cause the problem? If really this is the cause, what should i do to recover back my ‘Home’ URL setting?

    Please give me some advice!!! PLZ!!!!!!!!!!

  • Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting via Settings -> Permalinks. If this works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.
