• Hello,
I recently changed my Home URL address in Settings>General. I changed it to the address that I wanted users to enter when viewing my website. Now, when I try to access my admin pages at www.remarpro.com it directs me to the WordPress.com login page. I cant now access my www.remarpro.com admin pages. please help if you can
    Muge

  • Your login here (WP.ORG) is not related to your site at all, so I’m not sure exactly what you mean. Can you post a link to your site?

You can also try changing those settings back using one of the methods here:

Also, if you are using WP3.4.2 you need to update ASAP – you are running a real risk of being hacked.

Thanks for reply. I skyped bluehost and they have reset the settings so all cool now. Will do a little bit more research before i change again. Basically, i have a domain hosted by wordpress.com. I now want to use the same domain name for my new site that i am creating using www.remarpro.com. I have been given a temp address at .org and am trying to change that to my original domain. Hopefully then anyone who visits my original site will be directed to my new site. Makes sense?

I have been given a temp address at .org

Just to clarify, that’s not quite correct – as .ORG does not host any sites. So that’s actually a BlueHost temporary domain.

So have you changed the nameservers for your domain name on WordPress.COM to point to your new host?
