• Hello WordPressers,

i am out of ideas with my problem, so hopefully you might help me here.

I have instaled wordpress on hosting, everything works fine BUT time to time i have huge problems with WordPress URL’S.

For example my Home URL and Site adress are the same https://www.example.com, but when the problem occurs one of the adresses changes itself like example.com without www and when that happens all icons are gone… So i have to rewrite the adress in Settings back to https://www.example.com but after a few minutes it’s back without www…

I have no idea whats wrong, as i said it happens time to time… I’ve tried to hardcode the adresses into WP_config.php but even than it was overwritten.

    Could it be .htaccess file?

Thanks alot for all your advices

Do you have some sort of object caching in place, for example memcache or Redis, in your wp-content/ folder there might be an object-cache.php file. If you do have such a file consider renaming it.

Failing that, what happens when you go to example.com without the www normally?

Hello Tim, thanks for ur reply!

I have no idea if i have any caches at my website… At wp-content i have no such a thing called object-cache.php. Just regular folders (uploads, plugins etc..) I dont have any cache plugin or so…

If i go to example.com without www it works normally.

One thing that i found is that when i change the adresses to match in database instead of in wordpress admin panel, the period of changing is way longer. Probably means nothing.

Once again thanks for interest Tim
