"home" tab in master suite theme- how to get rid of it?

i am a newbie having troubles with the master suite theme. i have my page set up as a static site (have removed the sidebar, so it looks less blog-ish and more website-ish). the theme comes with a tab for the “home” page, but this takes you to the same page as my “welcome” tab, which i have set as my front page display through settings > reading.

when i go to the “pages” section, i see all my pages that i have created, including the “welcome” page, but there is no “home” page listed.

i want to get rid of that “home” tab, since it is redundant. any idea how i can do this?
