Home (Site title and meta description) does not work

    Hi.

    I run a woocommerce based web-store, currently testing on a sandbox WP, which I made for troubleshooting, so I do not mess with the production instance. But the problem is the same, both in the production and sandbox.

    The plugin used to work ok for a while (some weeks I suppose). Suddenly I found out that Site Title (with that i mean meta title <title>) and Meta Description, defined in “TITLES and METAS” menu, “HOME” tab, do not work anymore. The site shows site title defined in the WordPress Settings menu and does not show any meta title and meta description, even if the site title and meta descriprtion is manually defined text in the HOME tab of the Titles and metas menu in Seopress.

    However, the titles and metas work OK for products and product categories (defined on the product admin page or product category admin page). Only for HOME page (site title) it does not work.

    I have tried to reinstall plugin, reset and clear the database data from the plugin, checked for conflicts with other plugins (disabled all plugins but seopress and woocommerce), and no luck, Home title and meta still won’t apply.

    Please help, any hint would be appreciated.

    Hi,
    you have 2 SEO plugins activated on your site.
    You have to use only one please.
    Can I download your theme somewhere?

    Hi, Benjamin.

    Sorry, but I didn’t have 2 plugins at the time of writing this post. I just installed the other SEO plugin this weekend to check if the problem is the same on other plugins – but it isn’t.

    Anyway, I have disabled other plugins, and now there is just Seopress remaining.

    My theme is Shopisle https://themeisle.com/themes/shop-isle/

    It is not an issue with two plugins (I just tested with Yoast, and it works ok with Yoast. But I would really like to use Seopress).

    Any ideas?
