    Hi,

I would like to ask you something about my e-shop’s appearance on Google organic results. More specifically, even if I have disabled at my WooCommerce shop page the Yoast option “Allow search engines to show this Σελ?δα in search results?”, the shop page is appeared normally on Google. Please check my screenshot: https://imgur.com/XIbh68K. You can also check my shop page Yoast settings here: https://imgur.com/xOs4GYX.

Is there any other setting on Yoast that I should disable in order to disappear shop page from Google results? I don’t use it on my shop, that’s why I would like it to be no-indexed. Do you think that it may take some time in order Google to recognize my Yoast settings for this specific page?

In addition, I have a second question regarding my home page appearance on Google organic results. My eshop has been online since 04/04/2020 and for some reason I am not able to understand, while searching on Google with the keywords “gifts on top”, the home page of my shop is not appeared (I see only my FB page on 1st position). Please check my screenshot here: https://imgur.com/4R2XRmL. Only if I search with the keywords “giftsontop” (without space between the words) the website is appeared normally on 1st position. Is there any setting that I could set via Yoast plugin for my home page in order to be indexed for both keywords combination? The name of the business is “Gifts On Top” and it hasn’t a physical location (that’s why I haven’t created a Google My Business page yet). I have also tested the site via site:giftsontop.gr and the home page seems to be indexed normally (shop page is also appeared on this search). Please check my screenshot: https://imgur.com/z95Th3R. The website is also added normally at Webmaster tools with the sitemap via your plugin.

Waiting for your further advice at the above issues.

    Kind Regards,
    Dimitris

We checked on the shop page and confirmed that a noindex tag is present in the source code (see image here). Was the setting change to not index the page recent?

Regarding the ranking of the site for keywords, unfortunately your question is outside the scope of the support we provide. Giving?SEO advice, in most cases, requires a deep analysis of your site to provide accurate advice for your specific setup, even for what may seem to be a simple question. At Yoast, we want to help people improve their site and to make SEO attainable for everyone. So we offer?Yoast Academy?courses on all aspects of SEO, several great plugins, and a?comprehensive SEO blog.?We understand that not everyone has the interest or time to learn SEO.?Our main advice at this point?would be to check for a local SEO company and see if they can help out. If you are using a web development agency, you could ask them, as most agencies have at least a basic understanding of SEO as well – the good ones do.
