What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

I’m currently using TwentyTwelve
quick install from host gator
Was trying to do this with James Stafford web sites made easy but he never answers any questions

Sorry – what colour changes? You shouldn’t be editing the 2012 theme.

I need a black background with white writing

If I can’t change the color how do I get rid of that theme

You are using the 2014 theme – not 2012. And there’s no option in that theme for colour changes. Are you using a plugin?

Try reading about the Appearance_Themes_Screen.

My site says 20/12 active and that is what I was trying to use

ThornsRoses.com is using the 2014 theme
