home page wont display after installation

  • I just installed WordPress on my virtual server with media temple (mt). I went through the installation process to generate the config.php file and it worked. I received the email with my username and password and followed the link to my site. Upon arrival I still got the install page to configure wordpress… Is there something I forgot to do or need to change?

  • Bad advice is still better than no advice. Here is my bad advice. Change the name of the install.php file to maybe install.txt. Try then, and if it works your good to go, if not, at least you still have the file on your server.

    I don’t remember if it is supposed to be removed after install for security reasons
