home page video/image not showing

  • Hello. I just started using Music Lite last week and I can’t get a home page video or even image to show.

    I have a Youtube link set up under Header Media. I’ve also tested uploading an MP4 video. And I have a header image uploaded for the fallback.

    I’m not sure if it matters but I have my Homepage Settings set to:
    ??A static page
    ??Homepage – home

    What can I do to get the video and/or header image to show?

    Hi @plasmicsteve I had a similar issue but it was actually a setting on my browser and not the theme. Check your browser preferences for automatic media playing settings – I had that set to deny beforehand on my browser and that was blocking the header video from playing. Changing it to allow reversed that and the video plays well now.
