Home page title stuck to last post

    Hi

    For my site delhi-fun-dos.com the home page title (on top of browser) is stuck to the last post “Student of the year”

    I started using the review system of the site after that but my homepage title didnt change. It should show the last review title or at least show the default site headline as title “Delhi NCR events and reviews”

    Also if i search my site on google it shows “Student of the year”

    Are you sure you didn’t edit the functions.php or header.php files on your own? Also, are you using any plugins that could be responsible for this? Maybe it’s some SEO related plugin problem?

    No I have never edited functions.php or header.php files

    Maybe its done by one of the plugins.

    I’m using Rush SEO. could this be the issue?

    You should disable it and see if that helps. I think this is a good guess, since this is how the plugin is described:

    Override your titles, descriptions and keywords with page/post level input for greater control of **SEO**.

    Yes I disabled it and got my original page title back. Though I want to know if i am at a loss now because I have deactivated Rush SEO and got my page title back to default or was it better earlier as far as Search engines are concerned…
