    Hi there. It’s not the first time, that I’m saying that Virtue Theme is a masterpiece. And I’m sure that I’m not the only one who thinks that.

    I would like to ask something – home page slider loads after the page is loaded(in fact just before the page is fully loaded) and suddenly appears on screen, pulling down all other content, which is not much user friendly. How could I fix that, should I move a script for the slider somewhere?

  • Well it’s normal for javascript to load last, you can add css to set a height so when it loads it doesn’t pull the content down (can you post a link?)

    But really if you optimize your site with w3 total cache you should be able to speed it up enough so this isn’t as jarring.

    Thanks Kadence for quick response. I set same height for slides (from Theme Options) and div which holds the slider (again in Theme Options) as well. Now design stays as cool as it should be and nothing breaks.

    I will look for a solution for quicker loading of the slider, because I’m having some issues and errors while using W3 Total Cache (kind of ‘buffering error’, which suppose to be a typical W3TC error).

    Site seemed to load pretty well for me :). Caching would really help though. If your server isn’t’ working well with W3 total have you tried Super cache?

    I haven’t tried Super Cache yet, but I will as soon as I can. I figured that loading may be slower because of my internet provider, because today I tried again on other PC and slider loaded much quicker, and appeared almost at the same time as page finished loading.

    So for best results I will try a cache plugin. Thanks again for your help and advises.
