Home page: show Post Extracts

  • Hey Everyone,

    The theme on my site doesn’t have an option for me to only show extracts on my home page. It currently shows the entire post. Can anyone advise if and what code I could put in to over ride this, so only extracts show.

    Also, I have changed the colour of my navigation bar, but the sub menu that then drops down still has the original colour background, I need it to match my Nav bar.

  • hi dude, I have visited your website and I think you have a commercial themes. for more support, maybe you should contact your themes support. but for knowledge, you can learning about wordpress excerpt.

    Thanks!! That has worked, drop down colour is now the same!

    I managed to add excerpts using a wp plugin, The only thing I don’t like now is the double horizontal lines between the excerpts. I have tried playing around with some hr custom css but nothing seems to change the style/colour. Could you let me know what code I need to use to change these, please?
