    Hi,

I have multiple different sections on website home page. However, Yoast only tracks one of the sections and therefore it says my SEO is “OK” although in other sections of the page there are links and more keywords as the seo report say I should add.

Queston: Should i only use one section on home page and copy paste everything to main section and delete the other ones for a better SEO?

@nsb20 For the area of the home page that isn’t being detected, can you let us know if you are using a page builder plugin such as Visual Composer, Site Origin, Beaver Builder etc to create your page’s content? The SEO and readability analysis feature scan sometimes not work correctly if you are using some kind of visual page builder, as they can cause the page’s content to not be accessible to the plugin due to it being created outside the functions of the standard WordPress page editor.

@devnihil thanks for the reply. I have done the website with a theme and I have downloaded Classic editor plugin. Is that a problem?

It’s not an issue if you have downloaded the Classic editor plugin. By default, Yoast SEO can only detect content from the native Gutenberg and Classic editor content editor. So, if you are adding content outside of the default content editor, Yoast SEO won’t detect them.

If you are unsure about what you’re using to add the content, please share the relevant screenshots here with us so that we can take a look at them and give our confirmation. How to include screenshots or videos?

There are 2 pictures: The results of Yoast SEO + the section it tracks and a screenshot from the websites all 4 sections. So I have a bout 2000 words on my homepage of the website but it only tracks about 400 words.

Thanks for sharing the relevant screenshot with us. It looks like all the separate content editors are part of custom fields that Yoast SEO can’t detect and as such, you are seeing the content analysis reports based on the 400 words only.

So, if the relevant custom fields were generated by the ACF plugin, you can install and activate the ACF Content Analysis for Yoast SEO which will automatically add the bridge between those custom fields and Yoast SEO content analysis.

However, if all those custom fields are part of the theme or a 3rd party page builder plugin, we are afraid to say that Yoast SEO won’t be able to detect content from them unless the relevant developer adds support for our plugin from their end.

    Hi @nsb20,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while so we’re marking this issue as resolved due to inactivity.

You’re welcome to create a new forum topic if you have any other questions.
