Home Page out of Alignment

I am using 3’4 RC2
I have a front page that consists of some text and then a table that has two columns the first column is a slider with rolling images and the second column has a CATLIST List.

Since moving to 3.4 the CATLIST now does not line up with the images any longer the list produced sits below the images. I am currently using the 2011 theme. The issue is not theme specific it fails on all themes tested. Currently using 2011 theme on Dev. It is also not browser specific failing on google, firefox and IE 9
