home page not showing after restore after accidental trash

  • We have a website with 1 main page. This was accidentallly put into trash and then restored. In the admin module of wordpress I can see all the content, but the webpage only shows the menu list – all the page content is blank. What can be missing/wrong?

    What do you have set for the homepage in settings->reading?

    your latest post is selected – and we just changed it now to A static page and linked it to the page that was not showing – and it worked! You saved my day !!! 1000 thanks and corona hugs from denmark!
