I see this Permalink: https://amigosscarborough.com/home/ in the Edit page of my Home page. How do I change that to https://amigosscarborough.com/?
I am afraid of messing something up!

Okay now I have 2 Home pages.
Can I get rid of the first one?

In pages how many Home pages do you have.
If you using Static settings in Settings>>>>Reading what do you have as front page.
Are you using custom menus if so check there if you have two home links

One “HOME” in pages.

I have no idea where the first home is coming from?
I just want it to go away?

Thank you….. I went to Static settings in Settings clicked on Static page and made Front page HOME – it worked! I now have one fully functioning Home page.

But now…. where did my Wall paper backgrd go to???

it is there takes while to load.
