    Hello,

I’ve created home page and noted “static home page” under Appearance/Reading.

However, it does not appear on site. I can see it if I click “view page” but not after I update and publish page. My Navagation/Menu is set to “Home” with the page title under “Attributes”.

    Please help! Thanks.

  • Well, you’re new, not dense. There is a *huge* difference.

The theme is not connected to any functionality to send out newsletters, etc. So the answer is a definitive yes–you could easily do that.

Perhaps you can ask the folks at Elegant, since you paid for their product, why the homepage isn’t displaying correctly. Unfortunately, on these forums, we don’t routinely provide support for premium themes or plugins because most of us don’t have access to them & because that’s part of what you paid for when you bought the product. May as well get your money’s worth from those who know the product inside & out.

I can confirm that, under settings, readings:

    I had selected “static page”
    I had selected “home” first
left the blog blank or at “select”

I do like your idea of “blogging” the monthly projects and deeds, etc.

I just wrote to developer at MoJo and ask for help. I actually was able to send out newsletter and still can from the “elegent” theme.
However, my other problem is that the contact form does not work and I can’t add reCaptcha.

I appreciate your time you spent helping me. I am grateful, thanks!
