w3tc works awesome but the home page of my site is not been cached.

I use Mysql 5.5 and Nginx 1.0.5 with php-fmp, apc and memcached.

Any ideas?

• I believe there is a bug in 0.9.2.3 that prevents the homepage from being cached with the reject reason that there is a trailing slash in the URI when viewing the debug info for page caching.(at least for me).

I believe this is fixed in 0.9.2.4. I am still running 0.9.2.3 due to other bugs in in .4 though.

How do you know for sure that the home page isn’t being cached?

Because I use the debug function and only in the home page I don’t see any data.

Plus I have a cloud server and when I seek for the _index.html it was not there.

I know, because when I turn on debug info for page caching, I see at the bottom of my page the following:

<!– W3 Total Cache: Page cache debug info:
Engine: disk (enhanced)
Cache key: _index.html
Caching: disabled
Reject reason: Requested URI has a trailing slash
Status: not cached
Creation Time: 1.739s
Header info:
X-Pingback: https://www.——.com/—–/xmlrpc.php
Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8
X-Powered-By: W3 Total Cache/0.9.2.3

Also in 0.9.2.4 there is this issue, but not only for homepage, it is for all pages!!! See here:

@gilkudik Could you try switching to apc/enhanced/disk mode and test if the file is generated/output comes?
Also, can you check if the Cache home page flag is set and what is the homepage value in WordPress general settings?

@galerio your topic has nothing to do with @gilkudik issue.

I already have turned on apc for objects and enhanced disk for page cache (memcached for DB).

All the files are generating and the visitos get it but not everytime.

Could see if it works with the latest release if not perhaps you can submit a bug submission form from the support tab of the plugin?
