• Hi,

I’m using a customised theme that was designed for an earlier version of WordPress.

I have one page (which is designated as the home page) and 8 posts. I have just published the site and instead of seeing a home page come up when I go to the URL (www.getreadytotrade.com), I see a conglomeration of all the different posts. If I type in the URL with/home I get the home page but no listing for posts down the side, which is how I understood it should appear.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Sharon

I fixed the homepage in settings >reading but the posts are still indexed at the bottom instead of the side. Can anyone tell me if this is a feature of the theme that likely can’t be changed or something I can fix within WordPress?

    Thanks,

    Sharon

One other question, can I create a setting that shows the titles to all the posts on the home page index (instead of just the categories and details of the latest post) with an excerpt from each post under the title? I’d much rather have ‘read more’ and have inserted the code for that but it doesn’t appear to be working.

    Thanks again,

    Sharon
