Home page multiple article body

    Hi,

    I install wppsso on multiple sites. On some sites home page, it just show organization and author schema. but on some sites it show all latest posts schema on home page.

    As you can visit my site, check on home page, it have multiple, article body tags for each post. I think, it’s not good for search engines, it must show just for home page . not for each post.

    Yes, in google no error.

    But on home page,it shows all posts schema’s. if i have 10 posts on home page, it show’s 10 schema, and same schema on single article too.

    but on my other sites, even there are multiple blog posts , that show just home page schema.

    I want just home page schema on home page, not all blog posts those listed there.

    It sounds like you may not understand how Schema markup works… Yes, each individual page requires Schema markup to document its content. See here for the Schema types supported by Google, for example: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/article

    Your home page is Schema Blog, which includes a list of posts (aka BlogPosting). See here for more information on Blog: https://schema.org/Blog

    It sounds like you may want to research the various Schema types, and the Schema types that may best represent your content. For the home page of a blog (ie. the default WordPress post archive home page) the Schema Blog type is correct.

    Hi mate,

    thanks for your time to answer.

    Normally when we do blog posting, we show 10 posts on home page, those link to actual posts.

    Now on home page 10 posts shows with short text, when i look at schema of home page.

    It show me, 10 “articlebody” tags, and each with full blog posts. Is that ok? I feel, it hurt SEO. google index home page 10 “articlebody” and then on each post page same contents.

    Why not on home page , it should just show organization.

    Tell me, How to select home page schema as page/webpage?

    Yes, the Blog type for the WordPress “latest posts” home page is correct.

    Yes, a Blog type with 10 posts / BlogPosting is correct.

    Yes, the articleBody with the text of your article is correct.

    Organization is just one of the Schema types that should appear on your home page.
