Home page missing

Hello there,

I am using permalink structure like 2009/03/28/sample-post. I changed the homepage to another page, say its slug “home”. My site is https://aura.ivangelion.tw(a Taiwan site in Chinese).

I wanted to replace the homepage with another page, so I used the “edit page” menu and the ajax function “quick edit” to edit the page that was set to be homepage, and deleted it.

Then, I changed another page (say its slug “what”) to be the homepage, and changed its slug to “home”.

Then the homepage was mysteriously lost! That is, surfing the url https://aura.ivangelion.tw will display a 404 page.

I am wondering if it’s because a permalink problem: the page ID of the homepage point to the deleted one, not the new one, but I don’t know how to fix it ~”~
