• Hi,

    Thanks for this wonderful UI designer by Elementor. I am using it for quite some time now along with GeneratePress Theme.

    Recently I updated to the Version: 1.3.48 of GeneratePress, and since then I am having trouble with my website. Initially, I thought it to be a plugin issue and de-activated all active plugins. But, my issue wasn’t resolved. Looks like this is happening after the latest theme update. can you help?

    Issue: The site looks as expected while viewed in Desktop/Tab, however when I view my website in mobile screens, screen size approximately 5-5.5. inches; my Home Page goes distorted. Other pages on my website, however, behave normally, only issue lies with the Home Page, where my Headings and things look left indented, instead of centered.

    Kindly assist, asap!

    My website is https://www.admissionssquare.in Issue can be seen when viewed in mobile!

    Hi,

    Have you tried re-editing the mobile view and setting the text aligned center and save that? The large text needs to set smaller as wel in mobile edit, then save.

    Hi @logologics,

    I did try doing that, but all efforts went negative. Looks like it’s a stylesheet/CSS issue.

    Had been suffering for some time now. I got it clarified by GeneratePress, and it isn’t a theme issue either.

    Thanks.

    Hmm…Do you use a child theme? Is there custom code in there? If so, did you try switching to parent theme? Did you try switching to a default wordpress theme?

    Is there some caching going on? Did you try flushing cache?
    When you revert back to the previous version of your theme, is the issue gone?

    @logologics,

    Thank you for your concern to help me, however, I don’t use Child Themes, neither I use Custom Code. I had WP Fastest Cache as Plugin and cleaned the cache many times.
    Reverting back to the previous version of the GeneratePress Theme might not be required, as the theme developer themselves had confirmed there aren’t any issues of conflict with Theme code and my web page.

    Something to do it with CSS probably!

    Thank you.

    Very strange indeed!
    Especially the fact that it happens only on your homepage, and if I see it correctly, only the first section ” Welcome” and I suppose the “Educational consultancy” should be a lot smaller on mobile?

    When I look at your homepage in mobile these are the only two things that look distorted. Scrolling down the other headings are centered.

    I have seen stranger things get solved by removing that section and creating it again.
    It is only one section, so not to much work to try it.

    Maybe worth trying?

    @annie

    Thank you again for your time and feedback.

    I actually went ahead and followed your instructions. Thankfully, ‘Welcome’ now is fixed, so is the slogan ‘Educational Consultancy’. However, the distortion of the slogan still remains if I set some size value in “Tab” view, whereas if I keep the size field blank in “Tab” view, “Mobile” view works as intended.

    I think this is a temporary work around, and need the help of Elementor team to get the codes checked probably.

    @boaz from Elementor is also helping me out from the support team, and hopefully, I get this issue resolved asap. Never struggled with such an issue so long!

    Cheers!

    Great that the mobile view is solved now. Hope Elementors support can help sort out the rest!
