  • i see the missing page when i append a query string so its definitely showing on the front page. So this indicates you still have a local cache existing. check for the /cache dir under wp-content. If you delete that folder it should reshow your front page.

If not then are you using cloudflare or some other CDN?

Thanks for your help- I couldn’t see a /cache dir folder but there was a /cache folder. I deleted that but the post still isn’t showing. The site is on a cloud site with Bluehost- the author set that up with Bluehost because she was having trouble with the site constantly going offline, and Bluehost told her that would fix the problem. Could that be the issue?

Yea that has to be it because i can see your new post only when i do something like this:

    https://blondeexpeditions.com/?blahbah=1

But without the query string it reverts back to your old page.

So yea, if you can check with Bluehost for more information about it that will help. Keep me informed.

Ok, I’ll have her call- They usually give her the run-around and tell her it’s an issue with the theme, but she’s on Genesis and Foodie Pro (minimally customized)- so I doubt that. I’ll keep you updated- thanks again for your help!

Also check your purge policy to make sure the homepage is being purged as well. This can be done from the page cache settings.
