Home page is not correct – Its the go daddy 'FutureHome of something quite cool'

    I’m relatively new to this. Also i have the worst cold ever !! I have built a WordPress site locally and been working though the steps to migrate it to my Website. Which has been partially Successful.

    The problem which i cannot seem to solve…day 2…Is that my home page is the go-daddy page ” Future home of something quite cool. If you’re the site owner, log in to launch this site. If you are a visitor, check back soon”

    Any ideas on how to resolve this so that my main wordpress page is my home page. I also tried a redirect from this page (www.godlamingactive.com > https://www.godalmingactive.com/home which did work. I can see this update info in the Httaccess file.

    I’m stumped!!

    It’s moved on slightly. The cold must be going. I cleared the browser cache and it now redirects.

    However i would like to know how is this achieved without a re-direct ?
