Home Page glitch – showing other pages

Most of my new site is working great, but for some reason, instead of showing the text of my home page, it took several of my other pages, mashed them together and turned that into my home page. When I go to edit the page, my content is there, but when I open the page I get this glitchy mish-mash.
What do I do????
