I really want to buy your add on bundle plugin but need an answer regarding the question asap please as i need to start this job today and emailed regarding this two days ago.
I want to have a search filter on my home page which features a select dropdown with job location and an input box with job keyword. I do not want any results/jobs on the homepage just the filter search block. once someone fills in the filter fields and presses search this will load the jobs page with the search results. On the jobs page i wanted a more advanced filter with Job location (select dropdown), job keyword (input box), job type (select dropdown) and job category (select dropdown). once someone fills in the filter fields and presses search this will load the with the search results on the same page. I have seen there is a plugin called search and filtering for wpjob manager which i would buy have had no repsponse from them if this can be done. Im wondering if you know a way. I have tried to follow a tutorial you did where you said you can redirect the filter to the job page but it didnt work. I would really appreciate some help before buying. Thanks in advance

    Hi @leelnj !

I see you did your research ?? I can’t help with the Search and filtering plugin, that’s something the plugin author will need to clarify.

In short, what you are looking to do is possible, but you will need a custom code to get it working. WP Job Manager (and its add-ons) don’t have that feature out-of-the-box. I have seen themes that have such (or very similar) search boxes built into their templates. You can check some of the existing themes here: https://wpjobmanager.com/product-category/themes/

As for the tutorial, these are meant to be used as a starting point. The simple form you see in this tutorial can be added to any page (custom home page) and the Search button will open the Jobs page with search filters prefilled. Unfortunately, we can’t help you create custom code or guide you through the code.
