• Trying to straighten out what an overseas company did when setting up my WP with my own theme (a WP conversion, IOW). My seo.kirbyworks.net page just shows “index of blog/” when I go there with my browser but I want it to be my front page with my actual blog on my seo.kirbyworks.net/blog page.

I don’t want my home page to be seo.kirbyworks.net/home so do I just place my home page html under a different folder at my hosting account? If I do will I be able to show my latest posts in my footer?

Besides that, how do I get my /blog page to actually be a blog page?

Currently I have all my WP files in my seo.kirbyworks.net/blog folder per codex instructions but I’m not sure that’s where they need to be.

I did try creating a page with no title and put my body html there, made a change to it, and the changes showed up on my /blog page, but I don’t want my front page body html to show up on my blog page.

Under SETTINGS>READING I’ve got Front Page displays a static page with front page set to my page with a blank title and posts page set to blog.

    I’m confused.
