Home page disappears then returns

  • I am using the Customizr Version: 3.4.11 theme (child) on WordPress 4.3.1.

    The front page will not show…just a blank screen…until I go into WordPress, edit the page and hit UPDATE. I don’t even make any changes, just UPDATE and then it loads correctly.

    The front page will always display when I’m logged in as admin (so I go to a different browser to verify it’s working correctly.)

    When the front page is down, the page source is totally blank, but the favicon shows.

    This has been a back and forth…front page down, I re-publish it, then at some future time, it goes down again.

    Any help would be so appreciated. Thank you…

  • Depending on when you updated, but there was a corrupted download file being shipped (see here).

    Just to be sure, I’d remove the Theme and reinstall from a clean build (the problem has been fixed now). Not a Czr issue I should add.

    I read the other forum you linked (thank you!) and seemed to follow the instructions there.

    I changed themes to one I didn’t want, deleted the old customizr theme, then installed the new one fresh.

    Problem is still happening.

    Any other ideas or maybe tell me which instructions I missed?
