• On Saturday night my site started to show the latest blog instead of my home page.
I had just started the Google Lighthouse to examine performance and it was at that point that I noticed the program was scanning the latest blog page instead of the home page.
When I inspected my WordPress, my page was nowhere to be found.
It could’ve not be accidentally deleted because I could not find it in the trash either.
My Setting->Reading had changed from my Static home page to Latest Blog.
Please note that since then I have recreated my home page.
Could this have been caused by a malfunction of the theme or some issue with the site’s database?
My home page was the only page missing from my WordPress.
I have no idea about what might have caused this but I am eager to figure it out so I can prevent it from happening again.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I see a static homepage on your site, and not “latest blog”.

Thank you, George. That is because I recreated the home page and rest the Settings back to Static Home Page.

    My concerns are:

    1) what might have caused the problem. and
    2) how do I prevent it from happening again.

    Thanks again for your feedback.
