home page button and slideshow aren't working

    The theme fails to work properly, and I’ve tried it on multiple fresh installs of WordPress 3.5.1 I’ve even tried it on multiple domains I own, always with the same results.


    Take a look for yourself.

    What gives? Is this happening to anyone else?

    The weird thing is that earlier this afternoon it was all working properly.

  • hmmm… cannot reproduce by now..

    regarding the changes since “earlier this afternoon”:

    1.) any plugins installed within that time?

    2.) any changes in slideshow settings? maybe one of the options is broken?

    Well, yes, I was messing around with all sorts of stuff, and broke it.

    But, the point is, I uninstalled the WordPress install, re-installed, re-downloaded the theme, and tried it all over again. And I kept getting the same odd behavior.

    did you change theme files? please never change theme files.

    Yes, I know that now. But the main issue is that I re-installed wordpress altogether, reinstalled the theme, and still got the error without touching anything.

    …and when you add a featured image to the first post?

    hope this helps and gives a new hint maybe.. hard to tell from distance..

    Well, I added a featured image to my post, added another post, also with a featured image.

    I also reset all the defaults in the theme setting.

    This seems to have fixed this issue. Thanks!
