Hello, it looks like something is preventing my website to display correctly on iPhone. the home is mostly broken and I thought at first it was a compatibility issue with the WebP format I use for images. After some tests without big differences, and keeping in mind that also fonts are not displaying well, I tried deactivating the LiteSpeed Cache plugin I use without success, the issue is still there. I tried to scan Cloudflare options too to see if there was something problematic, but I couldn’t find it. Is there someone able to point me towards the reason of this? Thank you in advance

  • Hello @lucas6888, it appears everything is fine from my end. Let me know if you have persisting issues. The problem may have been caused by caching (I can see you are routing through Cloudflare).

Hello, have you tried on an iOS device? I also see everything fine from Windows or Android

I tried pausing Cloudflare but still no luck. Also tried to deactivate all plugins, still nothing

Hello @lucas6888 I hope you are well

To resolve the display issue on iPhone, temporarily disable both LiteSpeed Cache and Cloudflare’s CDN to rule out caching problems. Ensure WebP images have fallbacks for older iOS versions (pre-iOS 14). Check for any CSS/JS conflicts affecting mobile layout, especially related to responsive design or webkit-specific issues. Also, verify that fonts are loading correctly by ensuring proper MIME types and using the font-display: swap property in your CSS. Finally, test your site using Safari’s developer tools or an emulator to identify further errors.

I tried all of the above and also tried substituting WebP images with JPG manually, still the same. it seems to be an issue with the theme shortcodes since it’s a theme that never gets updated, or maybe I’m missing something

It seems the issue is likely related to outdated theme shortcodes. Start by temporarily removing the shortcodes on the homepage to see if the layout improves, or consider replacing them with WordPress blocks. If the theme is old and unmaintained, updating or replacing it may be necessary. Additionally, check that the CSS is properly responsive and that fonts load with the correct MIME types. Use Safari’s developer tools to debug any errors or conflicts specific to iPhone, and consider testing the site with a default theme to isolate the issue.
