    Hi, my site is up and looks great. https://www.littlepeargarden.com. The Home Page is supposed to show 12 posts and no more, right? I have more posts than 12, so the bottom page changer shows that there are more pages to browse. But it won’t go beyond the first page. If it is not supposed to go to the next page, can you tell me which code in the Home Page Template to suppress? Thanks.

    Go to Settings> Reading and select 12 for “posts per page” settings.

    That was what I did, but at the Home Page bottom I can still see the page changer bar showing 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 >>. I used Home Page template for my home page. I think the issue is that when people click on 2, 3, 4, 5, >>, it brings them back to Home Page and not the posts on those pages. Maybe for Home Page template the bottom shouldn’t show the page changing bar?

    No. I didn’t touch layout1.php at all.

    hmm.. Go to Theron options> Frontpage and select 12 posts per page.

    let me know.

    I did it. No effect. What I found was that in Settings -> Reading -> ‘Blog Pages show at most’ controls how many posts showing in the Home template. Do you think this is interfering with Theron Options? For Front Page displays, I used Static page, making Home as my front page, and What’s New (blog page) as my post page.

    sorry I dont understand, do you mean you selected a static page as your homepage from Settings> Reading?

    when you add a blog post the post is automatically displayed on frontpage and on blog both both. this is how the theme was made?

    Did you select the category of your blog page template form Theron Options> Misc. page?

    Thread Starter dps102

    (@dps102)

    1. Theron Options > Misc. Page> Category of blog page: a category was selected.

    2. adding blog post to both front page and blog page: yes, I understand this, and it is a great feature. However, if the front page can show only the first page of posts, then shouldn’t the navigation bar at the bottom be hidden? Viewers click on that bar to go on to the next page, but the screen refreshes back to the first group of posts. The navigation in the blog page works, it does bring the viewers to older posts.

    the pagination should appear fine. but its not..

    Did you select the “display frontpage posts from a category” option from Theron Options> Front page?

    if you did, make sure the “number of posts” selected on Theron options> frontpage and the “number of posts” per page option from Settings> Reading are set to same numbers. In your case, set them both to 12.
