Home Page Blues

  • My website is designed with the Parallax Pro Genesis Child Theme in English and want to translate to Spanish. I installed the Polylang plugin and followed (I think) the setup instructions to get it to work in English (en) and Spanish (es).

    I ‘translated’ the Front Page in Spanish, and I also created a second Menu in Spanish. I addes the Language Widget to both menus and that part works.

    My problem is that when I click the Spanish Flag the Spanish Home page is not loaded, instead I get a white screen with the following message:

    Index of /es
    Parent Directory
    Apache Server at https://www.technologix.ca Port 443

    I guess it cant ‘find’ the spanish version of the home page under https://www.technologix.ca/es Not sure what I am doing wrong.
