  • Try adding this CSS to theme options> advanced settings

    .home_blog article {
        min-height: 255px;
    }

    Let me know if that works for you!

    That did extend the height of the “boxes” but it still looks bad (in a slightly different way). Thoughts?

    Can you be more specific as to what you don’t like about how its displaying?

    Thanks,

    It was nice before this issue popped up. The images were all same height and the border of the box surrounding each post was perfectly wrapped around the photo and blog content. Maybe the bigger problem is that the images stopped being all the same size on the home page??

    Thanks for your help and I apologize for my lack of being able to communicate this more clearly.

    No need to apologize! It looks like you’ve got photon in jetpack enabled, and sometimes that can cause issues with how the images are cropped. Try deactivating that and let me know if it makes a difference.

    I deactivated photon and removed the initial code you gave me from “advanced settings”.

    Did that fix how the blog posts are displaying on your home page?

    It didn’t, sadly.

    Try going into theme options> blog options and setting default post summary to “portrait image.”

    There is a bug that should be fixed with the next update, but this should fix it until then.

    let me know if this works for you!

    I don’t see “blog options” under theme settings. What am I missing?

    My mistake, I meant “Page/Post Settings.” There you should be able to set the Blog Post Summary Default.

    It seems like that is a step in the right direction. Now the last two posts on the home page just seem out of whack (with the border).

    This is due to the post excerpts having different length words. Each excerpt contains a set amount of words, but some words are larger than others which is throwing off the layout.

    You can go into each individual post and change the excerpt to a custom one for posts that break down to another line.

    In Screen Options within your post, be sure that you’re enabling “excerpt.” You should be able to scroll down the page and set a custom excerpt that uses less words so you can avoid the extra line of text.

    Let me know if that works for you.
