Home meta description not appearing in search result

    Google is not showing the meta description of my site homepage. I have checked all the SEO options of my site over and over again and everything seems fine.
    Google says –
    ”A description for this result is not available because of this site’s robots.txt – learn more.”

    You can see that I have not blocked anything related to homepage. It has already been 3 weeks that I am having this issue. Another thing is that I have written default meta description for all posts using the Yoast SEO plugin. But google is not showing them properly. It is showing little bit from there and little bit automatically from my post content.

    A solution will be much much appreciated!

    Thanks for reaching out regarding your meta description. Unfortunately, the site does not currently run the Yoast SEO. Can you please install the plugin so we can take a look at the issue you reported?
