Home link not working correctly

Hi everyone,

I am new to the forum and have just installed wordpress today and am playing around with it. I have umbraco already installed as my main site and have wordpress installed in the directory https://www.mysite.com/blog/

I’m running it on a windows server with IIS7, shared hosting with plesk control panel. I have added the web.config to the /blog/ folder which gives me the pretty permalinks, no problems so far…

However, my home link on my blog goes to https://www.mysite.com/blog/ which gives me a 404 error. When I type in https://www.mysite.com/blog/index.php, the page displays as expected.

This also applies to ‘site admin’ which links to https://www.mysite.com/blog/wp-admin/ which also gives a 404 error. https://www.mysite.com/blog/wp-admin/index.php works as expected though.

It seems the server isn’t looking for a default document called index.php, even though I have made sure that it is top priority in the web directories properties section of the plesk control panel.

Does anyone have an idea why this would be? Everything else works fine, the admin area, plugins, themes, adding posts, comments, blank comments submitting with error page etc.
