Hi, first time using the plugin.

Just a quick question – when migrating a website to a new server (from Apache VPS to AWS Lightsail), my home directory path in the database is going to change from /home/username/public_html/ to /home/newusername/public_html/ or whatever the Lightsail path is.

    1. In order to achieve the import correctly, I assume that on export, I need to use the “find and replace” function? Or does the plugin automatically detect the new home directory path on the new server?

    Thanks!

Great question! When migrating your website to a new server, you don’t need to worry about manually changing the home directory path. The All-in-One WP Migration plugin will automatically handle the path replacement during the import process. It will detect the new home directory path on the new server and update the paths accordingly.

So, you can proceed with your migration without needing to use the “find and replace” function for the home directory path.

    Thank you very much, Yani.
