    I am working on a staging website with WooCommerce and WC Catalog Enquiry plugin to create an online catalog. Everything was fine until one day I noticed the WooCommerce dashboard Home (/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-admin) and Customers (/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-admin&path=%2Fcustomers) pages started giving an “ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE” server error. Not sure when this started happening but I just happened to click on the WC home tab and got this error. I tried loading these pages using other browsers, clearing cache, but still getting the same error.

    I checked the WC status page and it shows everything is good and there are no new logs either. I also turned on WP debug and log but there are no errors displayed or logs saved when trying to load these pages. Server side error logs also don’t have anything related to WC logged.

    I did all of the troubleshooting steps with theme and plugin compatibility, uninstalled the WC plugin with database tables removal and reinstalled, but those dashboard pages are still not loading. After activating the WC plugin this time the setup wizard failed to load since it’s trying to load the dashboard WC home page.

    To test if this was caused by a server side issue, I installed a fresh test WordPress installation using the default theme and only the WooCommerce plugin and it also has the same issue. Debug and log on but again nothing is displayed or logged.

    I’m thinking the issue is caused on a server level but as far as I know nothing was changed on the server side. I checked through the cPanel settings and I don’t see anything obvious that could be causing some pages to give the “ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE” server error. I also asked GoDaddy for help with the server and they just confirmed there were no server errors and don’t provide help with WP.

    I’m thinking the issue is caused on a server level but as far as I know nothing was changed on the server side.

    You’re right about this most likely being an issue on the server side. It could also be a browser issue at times, but since you’ve tested with multiple browsers its safe to assume its not.

    This usually happens because of some sort of PHP or apache related issues. Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response. Thank you!

    This will help us better understand how your site is set up.

    Hi, we upgraded our hosting cPanel on GoDaddy to their Maximum plan in hopes that may fix it, but we are still having the same dashboard pages not loading.     To anyone else also having seemingly random server errors AND are hosted with GoDaddy, it appears this issue is unique with GoDaddy hosting.

    After some additional searching I found a post with the same issue:

    The “fix” is to add the following to the .htaccess file at the beginning:

    # BEGIN Line too long fix
SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M
# END Line too long fix

    After adding this to the .htaccess file the admin pages previously having errors are now loading again.
