• Hi!

I’m working on a new site, and have a problem I have not encountered before. The Home button doesn’t show up in the menu. I have gone to the menus option in Appearance, and it is there. I added my first post underneath it, but it didn’t help. In Firefox, the page opens to a 404 error. In Chrome it shows up properly to my post–but still no Home button. Of course, you can get to the posts page by clicking links in the sidebar, or clicking Back.

I don’t know if this is a WordPress issue or a theme issue. I am using GeneratePress 2.0. All of my sites are created with this theme with no issues.

I have posted at the GP forum as well. If someone could advise me, I’d be so grateful!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,
I just inspect your site and there is no home link in the menu.
I guess your added home in the another menu.
You have to add home menu item in which menu is set as a primary menu.
Just check manage location tab just beside the menu tab in the appearance > menu tab.
    You will get your solution.
    Thanks.

Yes, that’s what I was saying. I HAVE added the Home button in my primary menu, as I said here: “I have gone to the menus option in Appearance, and it is there. I added my first post underneath it, but it didn’t help.” So the HOME link shows up in the make a menu screen, but not in the actual menu bar.

So, I went into Customize, and saw that the menu hadn’t been checked as primary. So all is good.

    Thanks, for the response.
