Holy Smokes! I feel like I just won the lottery

How this plugin doesn’t have hundreds of thousands of downloads is beyond my comprehension. I’ve been looking for exactly this for a very long time. I played around with “WordPress Leads” and their free trial upgrade, but it’s pretty clear that is end-of-lifed, and I couldn’t get it to do anything meaningful.

It seems this plugin is also EOL’ed or at least dormant, but it just works. No connecting contact form 7 or extra modules to install. It just freaking works. If this thing ever dies cause of a WP update, I volunteer as tribute to contribute to the codebase to keep it working. Blown away is an understatement.

Now, excitement out of the way, I could see something like this having GDPR compliance issues. However, any marketing automation that does similar stuff is going to have those issues, and I’m not in, nor do I sell to, Europe, so game on.

Between this, Mailchimp for WP, and Popup Maker, I am able to replicate a client’s functionality desires from the most advanced marketing automation SaaS providers, with a one-time development/setup cost that is less than a year subscription to any of those services. I feel so lucky to have found this. I could almost cry.
