• Hi!
I am using Mailpoet as my email service.
I downloaded Holler Box and the pop-up form looks great on my website.
However, when someone signs up on the Holler Box form, they are not added to the Mailpoet list, even though I have it set-up within Holler Box.

It seems there is a problem with the connection between Holler Box and Mailpoet.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you!

  • I’ve got the same problem!!!

Hi, I just tested with the newest version of Mailpoet, and the subscriber was successfully added to my list as unconfirmed. Can you provide more details?

Hi Scott, I seem to have the same problem also. I am only new to both MailPoet 3 & Holler box.
I believe I have configured both plugins correctly, but when I test the notification popup on my website, I don’t receive any opt-in confirmation email, therefore I don’t receive new subscriber email either. The Holler box statistics show 21 impressions and 3 conversions, but none of this is showing up in the MailPoet 3 subscribers. I have triple checked my settings in both Holler Box & MailPoet 3 and cant seem to find any cause for this. Any further things I can check?

    thanks
    Geoff

Hi Geoff, did you check under “unconfirmed” subscribers in MailPoet? Also, are you sure your site is able to send email?

    Same problem here:

Holler doesn’t seem to work with MailPoet anymore: I installed Holler, setup the connection to Mail Poet, selected a list for the users to join – so everything should be good to go. The box shows up on the page, users can enter their email-adress, the box shows a success message after sending – but then nothing happens. No mail to the user (double opt in), no new entries in the lists. Am I missing something?

Also: I would like Holler to show the form I created for joining the newsletter, not just a simple email-field.

Your help is very much appreciated.

    Kind regards, Michael

I have the same. I dont have any “unconfirmed” subscribers, any confirmed when somebody click button in Pop Up from Holler. I really need help!

    Hi @aribeth16 .
From my end, I was never able to resolve the connection issue with Hollerbox and Mailpoet. However, Mailpoet since added the option for pop-up / slide-in forms, which was what I needed. Maybe Mailpoet’s solutions will work for you too?
