Holding and hiding comments until they are approved

    Hi there

    I have set up WordPress 2 and I finally found the spot that lets people post without logging in. I have also turned on
    “A comment is held for moderation”
    and
    “An administrator must approve the comment (regardless of any matches below)”

    I get an email when a comment is made, but the comment is displayed before it is approved. Is there another setting somewhere that I need to turn on?

    What I want is this:
    user posts comment
    comment is held for approval, and not displayed in the blog
    once comment is approved, it is displayed

    Is this possible?

    Your blog, you see everything. I wouldn’t.

    Use another browser from which you haven’t logged into your blog. Make a comment and see what happens. It will either disappear or will post saying “Awaiting moderation” but you on your other browser will just see it.
