Hit counts don’t match ?

  • When I look at the hits column in the posts admin page, I see one number , but the count on the individual page in edit mode shows a much smaller number ?

    For example, one post (in admin posts pages) shows 153 hits (completely unreasonable for a new unpublished page only 9 minutes old) but this same post, veiwed in edit mode shows 3 hits.

    What is causing this ?
